Capitals' Ovechkin says knee 100 percent

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin says the right knee he injured at the hockey world championship is fine and he's been working out for the past month or so.

Speaking to reporters Thursday, about a week before training camp opens, the three-time NHL MVP says: "My knee doesn't bother me."

Ovechkin adds: "Everything feels fine and 100 percent."
