Knicks move Gallinari into starting lineup
NEW YORK (AP) The New York Knicks have changed their lineup, giving Danilo Gallinari his first start of the season.
Gallinari replaced Al Harrington on Saturday night against Philadelphia. Gallinari averaged 19 points and made 10 3-pointers in the Knicks' first two games.
Gallinari, the No. 6 pick in the 2008 draft, was expected to be a starter this season but struggled during exhibition play after missing most of his rookie campaign with a back injury. Coach Mike D'Antoni decided to make a change after New York's dismal start on Friday, when the Knicks were outscored 32-13 in the first quarter of their double-overtime loss at Charlotte.
