WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) Eric Ward threw two touchdown passes and four different Richmond players had rushing scores as the Spiders routed Georgetown (D.C.) on Saturday.
Richmond (9-1, 6-1 Colonial Athletic Association) remains in a three-way tie for first place in the CAA South with Villanova and William & Mary. The Spiders host William & Mary next Saturday with at least a share of the conference title at stake.
Ben Keating's 2-yard run, Tyler Kirchoff's 1-yarder and Ward's 15-yard TD pass to Sherman Logan put Richmond ahead 21-0 in the first quarter. (MORE)
