USC tailbacks McKnight, Bradford sit out practice
LOS ANGELES (AP) Tailbacks Joe McKnight and Allen Bradford are sitting out most of Southern California's practice to rest injuries.
The 12th-ranked Trojans' top two ball carriers both were limited to minor work during practice Tuesday. Both still hope to play at Arizona State on Saturday.
McKnight has a sore ankle and pain behind his right knee perhaps related to his hamstring. He leads the Trojans with 712 yards rushing and seven touchdowns.
Bradford has a sore right knee. He has 397 yards rushing and four TDs, averaging 7 yards per carry.
C.J. Gable got most of the work with the Trojans' first-team offense Tuesday.
Linebacker Chris Galippo and receiver Ronald Johnson returned to practice after missing Monday's workouts.
